Declaration on accessibility for Emmanouela Alevizopoulou
We strive to make our website as accessible as possible for people with special needs, including people with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. We are constantly working to improve the accessibility of our website to ensure that all users can access it equally.
We always ensure our website is in line with best practices by following the principles of universal design, which ensures that our website is flexible and adaptable to the different needs or preferences of users and is accessible through a variety of different technologies, including mobile devices or support technologies.
Web Content Accessibility Standards (WCAG) 2.1
Wherever possible, our website complies with the AA standards for web content accessibility (WCAG 2.1). These guidelines contain four main principles for creating websites:
- Perceptible - The information and user interface of the system must be presented to users in such a way that they can perceive it
- Operable - components of the user interface and navigation must be operable
- Understandable - information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable
- Robust - The content must be structured enough to be reliably interpreted by a variety of user agents, including assistive technologies
Accessibility toolbar: Our website uses: Accessibility Enabler Toolbar that allows users to set accessibility settings and their permissions. This tool helps the user access websites in such a way that they can be used by the breach of the contact.
